Pillsbury and Peters Fine Art, Ltd., one of the largest and most active private galleries in the southwest, offers regular exhibitions of contemporary art, as well as selected installations devoted to classic modern art from the end of the nineteenth century through the middle of the twentieth century. Known for its high standards of connoisseurship and a reputation for exceptional value in serving its clients, Pillsbury and Peters Fine Art is a partnership of its executive member, Edmund P. Pillsbury, the distinguished former director of Fort Worth's acclaimed Kimbell Art Museum (1980-1998), and Gerald Peters, longtime owner of successful galleries in New York and Santa Fe. The Gallery occupies a thirty-thousand-square-foot site in the historic Uptown District of Dallas, at the corner of Fairmount and Cedar Springs, and includes three separate and newly-renovated exhibition spaces, an atrium, and sculpture garden.

In the recent past the Gallery has featured the work of David Hockney, Pablo Picasso, William Wegman, Dale Chihuly, George Segal, Al Held, James Surls, Magdalena Abakanowicz, and a host of other European and American contemporary masters. Leading artists from the region—from Terry Allen, Dan Rizzie, Al Souza, Richard Stout, Bill Komodore, and Roger Winter to David McManaway, Jim Love, Harry Geffert, and Sharon Kopriva—are also represented by the Gallery, which is run by a professional staff of three: in addition to Dr. Pillsbury, Rosemary Hill, Sales Manager, Holly Johnson, Gallery Director, and Ashley Tatum, Gallery Associate. The Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 10 - 6, Saturday, 11-5, and by appointment.
