2nd Annual High School Art Exhibition March 4–March 26, 2006 
In 2005, the Tyler Museum of Art presented the first Annual High School Art Exhibition. That exhibition featured works by John Tyler and Robert E. Lee High Schools. The works, selected by their teachers, represented a variety of materials and styles of expression. It was a remarkable and notable presentation, offering to the community an opportunity to view, in a museum environment, art created by extremely talented young artists.
The 2nd Annual High School Art Exhibition promises to be just as exciting, and the TMA looks forward to showcasing art by students from John Tyler, Robert E. Lee and other local high schools.
A special reception and awards presentation for the artists will take place on March 4th, from 2–4 p.m., and we invite our members and the public to share in this special opportunity to recognize—and encourage—ptalented young student artists from the area as they prepare to graduate from high school and make choices for their future professional careers.
This exhibition was organized by the Tyler Museum of Art.
