Calligraphy has been a valued Japanese art form since the sixth century. Viewers are impacted by the intriguing dance of lines and form as these elements interact with the surrounding space. In modern times, calligraphy is reaching new heights of popularity in Japan. Viewers will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of this art form in this exhibit of works by a leading contemporary master of Japanese calligraphy.
