The Museum boasts a Permanent Collection of some 500 works.The strength of the Collection includes paintings, photographs, sculpture, and prints by some of Texas’ best known artists. Such artists include Vernon Fisher, James Surls, Ancel E. Nunn, Terry Allen, Skeet McAuley, and Keith Carter.

The print collection contains important works by leading American artists including Alexander Calder, Alex Katz, James Brooks, Philip Guston, Fairfield Porter, and Red Grooms.
