Latin Visions

Tyler Junior College and the Tyler Museum of Art are collaborating to present Latin Visions, a series of exhibitions and events celebrating Latino/Latina achievements, culture, and lifestyle. Festivities will include a performance by Juan Carlos< and Jeana Ureña at 2:30 p.m. on the plaza in front of Wise Auditorium. Juan Carlos, a well-known Costa Rican musician, and partner Jeana Ureña have combined their musical influences to create a unique program of folk music with both sociological and ecological messages. The Tyler Museum of Art Fiesta Latina Family Day will feature storytelling, art activities, refreshments, and an artist demonstration.

That same evening, Veronica Ortega will sing in English and Spanish at 7:30 p.m. in Wise Auditorium.
